The Carriage House @ Vineland Estates Winery can seat up to 56 (75 if standing) of those select people who have been there since the first kiss. A few kilometers from the rush of the highway, looking out from the glass wall of The Carriage House, standing among the glint of crystal and crisp linen, a still, serene, isolated world presents itself. The Vines of the St. Urban Vineyard — some of the oldest Riesling vines in Canada — slope down from the crest of trees turning from green to deeper green, from red to fading gold. On the left, the sail boats skirt across nearby Lake Ontario.
