Meredith + Craig Kurtz Orchards
I've never met a bride that wishes for a rainy wedding day... but if it happens you'll want to lean on your wedding professionals for the extra help to make it romantic and lovely. The rain on Meredith and Craig's wedding day just heightened the already lovely charm of their orchard wedding.
From the florist Melanie at Lush Florals: Meredith was a bride that from the very beginning was a complete dream. She loved our work and booked us without even meeting. Plans came together without a hitch and her wedding design was just breathtaking. Then came the rain….alot of it.
When planning an outdoor wedding you have to think that there is a small…minuscule possibility of rain. All outdoor venues have a plan, we as florists have a plan as do the decorators. Although Meredith’s dream ceremony did not take place under her reception tent, we alongside Simply Beautiful worked very hard to make it unforgettable.
In the end her farm wedding at Kurtz Orchards was a dream. A gorgeous venue in Niagara’s wine country, romantic layered floral, superb decor, amazing food and a warm atmosphere.
A note about Meredith’s gorgeous pictures: Danijela Photography did an amazing job capturing the warmth of this family. She made outstanding beauty out of the rain and gave such life to our work through hers. I am so appreciative to have these beautiful images to share.

Vineyard Wedding at Sunset
When you visit the Good Earth Food and Wine Company it's like you're in a different world... completely surrounded by vineyards and orchard trees you could easily lose track of hours with a glass of Niagara wine and a delicious menu. Now imagine this at sunset with a harvest table set for all of your favourite people!
From the lovely and talented florist Sue Gallo Designs: 'This gorgeous vineyard wedding was held on a picture perfect summer afternoon at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. in Beamsville. Their romantic outdoor wedding was inspired by the beautiful vineyards and orchards that surrounded the venue. We simply adored their choice of soft colour palettes of ivories, blushes and yellows. Danielle of Shaw Events worked her usual magic and helped to bring this magical vineyard wedding to life. Perfect vineyard chairs from Simply Beautiful Decor helped complete the alfresco dining & relaxed atmosphere beneath the venue’s vine covered pergola. Our beautiful rose blossoms, vines, hydrangea, peony and veronica set in vintage jars and vases dressed the long harvest dining table with candles finished the table scape for an added romantic glow after sunset. Who could not fall in love with the way in which photographer Tara McMullen documented this gorgeous vineyard wedding.'
Happy planning friends!

Reanna + Mike Inn on the Twenty
Thank you Serena Swan Photography for today's fill of all things pretty and romantic! Is there anything more 'Niagara' then a vineyard wedding on the escarpment?
From the photographer: Reanna and Mike have a storybook love story. They grew up living right down the street from each other and were childhood friends before they eventually decided that love was right there in front of them. Mike choose to propose to Reanna in the comfort of her home after she had had a long day at work. She opened the door to a room full of candles and Mike down on one knee. Reanna and Mike love everything about living in Niagara from the gorgeous wineries to the delicious wine and cheese that is grown and made there. They knew because of this that they had to have their wedding in the place that they love and had to incorporate as many aspects of this as possible. The ceremony was held among the grapes with the escarpment as the backdrop at the Cave Springs Winery in Jordan. After photos the couple joined their guests at the Inn on the Twenty for delicious food and wine. Soft creams and pewters set the tone of the decor with lots of diy touches, from the fans that guests could cool themselves with to the cheese wheel cake made for guests to enjoy that night.

Taryn and Grant - Gold and Glitter
A gold and glittery celebration on the blog today! This one was sent in by Eva Derrick Photography and check out the other Niagara vendors that pulled together to make Taryn and Grant's wedding so fabulous!
From the bride: 'I'd say the inspiration for our wedding day came from my love for gold, sparkles, glitter and anything a little bit different! I knew I wanted a room filled with all of those things. I wanted it to feel romantic and beautiful and for our guests! The red double decker bus was such a fun, unique way to celebrate getting married in Niagara Falls that we couldn't resist using it as our transportation - and our guests got a kick out of it!
The chapel was small, quaint and so beautiful on its own, I didn't want to take away from its natural charm, but of course I couldn't resist pulling our gold theme through with the 'love' balloons and some beautiful florals - which i think pulled it all together and tied in the gold, romance and fun we were looking for!
Our reception vibe was full of friends, family, love and all the gold glitter I could cram into one room! The details were my favourite part of our reception, from the 40' gold foil table number balloons to our gold sequin tables linens to our gold glitter donuts as guest favours - it's what brought my vision together of romance, sparkle, fun and love all in one room!'

Lawren + Jason’s Elegant Vineyard Wedding
All of niagara's essense right here wrapped up in this sweet and elegant celebration-wine and an amazing menu set up in a beautiful tent overlooking acres of vineyards...
From the Designer Amanda Cowley Sweet Events: It's almost guaranteed that anytime a bride tells me they're getting married at Ravine Vineyard I am automatically on board. I've confessed my love for this sweet little gem in the heart of St. David's on several occasions, however it never ceases to amaze me just how much I love this venue every time I visit. Lawren and Jason's plan was to have their ceremony in the early evening among the vineyards, a cocktail reception of 'his & her' favourites along with a pickle bar and delicious passed appetizers (honestly...the food is to die for), and their reception following in the darling tent also located on the property.
